Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Migration and Release Lead to drive data migration, cutover, and release execution for a multi-year transformation of Amazon’s Finance ERP platform.

This leader will work across Accounting, Finance, Product, Engineering, Solution Architecture, Internal Controls, SAP, and implementation partners to ensure financial data is accurately migrated and new capabilities are deployed in a controlled manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• 7+ years of experience leading data migration, conversion, deployment, cutover, or release activities for large-scale enterprise programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end data migration and release strategy, integrated plan, governance, and execution for the Finance ERP transformation.
• Define the migration scope, sequencing, conversion approach, data-retention requirements, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate data profiling, extraction, mapping, transformation, cleansing, loading, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Lead migration cycles and mock conversions, using results to improve data quality and cutover readiness.
• Develop and maintain the integrated release and cutover plan with dependencies and resource requirements.
