Job summary

SPRCHRGR is a remote-first professional services consultancy enabling finance and engineering leaders to build bespoke client tools. You will work on dashboards and AI-powered automations that operate on live accounting data, delivering transparent, auditable outputs for mid-market clients.

We seek a senior accountant-turned-developer who can own data architectures, write robust queries, and partner with our Founder to ship practical, scalable solutions from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, CS or related field.
• 10+ years of combined accounting/finance and software or systems development.
• CPA or CMA preferred, not required.
• Proficiency in SQL preferred.
• Experience with major accounting systems (QB, NetSuite, Sage, Dynamics).
• Clear, concise communication and ability to work independently remote.
• Based in the United States and capable of remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and own client dashboards with interactive financial models and Excel exports.
• Develop AI automations that transform client data into actionable outputs.
• Write database queries and connect to live client accounting data.
• Resolve discrepancies with documented explanations and data provenance.
• Educate colleagues to build their own tools and reduce dependency.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand needs and deliver bespoke solutions.
