Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. in South New Jersey seeks an experienced finance professional for an exempt, senior finance leadership role.

You will generate and report financial statements to HQ, prepare board materials, manage budgeting, and oversee finance operations with the President to sustain and improve financial health. You will direct financial planning, monitor performance against budgets, approve expenditures, and supervise the Finance & Accounting departments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong Accounting experience.
• Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of finance, accounting, taxation, budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Generating and reporting to HQ the financial statement. The preparation of Board Meeting Materials. Reporting on the financial well being on a monthly basis Secondary Approval of Disbursements Use of Cost Accounting to generate cost method. Works with the President using finance information to sustain and improve on the financial health and future.
• Directing and coordinating financial planning and budget management functions.
• Works to create Financial Strategy with the President. Recommending benchmarks and product unit cost for measuring the financial and operating performance.
• Monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against the budget.
• Secondary approval on all expenditure requests and disbursements.
• Overseeing the daily operations of the Finance & Accounting departments.
• Managing the preparation of financial reports.
• Managing the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts.
• Preparing financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state and federal budgetary reporting.
• Working with department managers to develop business plans.
• Serving on planning and policy making committees.
• Serving a primary government liaison relative to financial issues.
• Recruiting, training, supervising and evaluating department staff.
