Job summary

Ol gcstx in San Antonio seeks an experienced Director of Finance to manage all financial operations, staff, and programmatic financial matters across assigned agencies. You will report to the CFO and guide strategies for long-term sustainability, compliance, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities include budgeting, payroll, asset management, contract oversight, and financial reporting to funders and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years experience in accounting/finance, nonprofit or grant-funded environment preferred.
• Experience with federal grants/contracts and Sage Intacct strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance department operations, budgeting, accounting, and staff supervision.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and grant requirements.
• Oversee audits, internal controls, and financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Coordinate treasury, banking, and investments in line with policy and fiduciary duties.
• Serve as liaison between finance and program teams to align financial and program goals.
