Connecticut United Football Club is seeking a Director of Finance to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial administration. You will manage cash flow, produce insightful analyses, and support strategic business decisions with cross-functional collaboration across departments.

The role requires 5+ years in finance/FP&A, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. This on-site position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in Bridgeport, CT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the club's annual budgeting and forecasting processes with clear analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports including budget-to-actuals and trends.
• Monitor cash flow and departmental spending, maintain financial controls.
• Oversee payroll processes and coordinate with payroll providers and stakeholders.
• Partner with departments to analyze revenue, expenses, and financial performance of initiatives.
• Serve as the primary internal finance contact for external accounting and tax providers.
