Job summary

Bogus Basin Recreational Association Inc in Idaho is seeking a Finance Director to oversee the mountain area's financial health, budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning. The role drives winter and summer revenue growth.

You will lead the finance team, ensure GAAP compliance, manage cash flow and banking, and partner with senior leadership to align financial strategy with operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 7–10 years in finance with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Experience in hospitality, resort, or outdoor recreation preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with financial software (QuickBooks, Excel, ERP).

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term financial strategies to support the organization’s goals.
• Lead budgeting process and present financial reports to executives and board.
• Oversee GAAP-compliant financial statements and audits.
• Manage cash flow, debt, and banking relationships.
• Provide financial guidance for revenue streams (lift tickets, rentals, ski school, retail, food & beverage, summer).
