Job summary

DC Prep is seeking a Director of Finance to lead budgeting, forecasting, audits, and financial planning for its network of six campuses. You will partner with campus leaders to drive fiscal discipline and strategic investments in student outcomes.

You will manage a Finance team, oversee external audits, and ensure compliance with all financing agreements while advancing DC Prep’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in financial management, strategy or analytically rigorous field.

Responsibilities

• Represent DC Prep with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm while modeling the organization's mission and core values.
• Maintain consistent attendance and fulfill in-person and remote work expectations.
• Manage confidential financial, employee, student, vendor, and organizational information with discretion.
• Ensure financial activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, deadlines, and DC Prep policies.
• Respond to urgent financial and operational matters and adjust priorities during high-volume periods.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the CFO or leadership.
