You will lead budgeting, reporting to managers and the Board, coordinate audits, and guide a finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Significant experience in finance leadership for organizations.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial control practices.
• Experience supporting audits and preparing formal financial reporting.
• Experience in nonprofit environment and ECFA standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting processes across the organization's entities in alignment with internal control policies and procedures.
• Direct the annual budget creation process and provide financial guidance that supports sound organizational planning.
• Prepare and deliver timely financial reports for managers, senior leaders, the Board, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the annual audit process for Light of Life and L2 Community Support, including preparation of documentation and coordination with auditors.
• Ensure financial transactions and reporting practices remain aligned with GAAP, ECFA standards, and internal policies.
• Provide financial input on contracts, budget decisions, and organizational development initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to support financial and budgetary decision-making across the organization.
• Hire, lead, and develop the accounting team while reinforcing accountability, quality, and consistency in execution.
