Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Director of Finance for UTLX Manufacturing in Alexandria, LA. This full-time, office-based role reports to the Platform Controller and oversees accounting and financial planning for the manufacturing unit.

Travel up to 10% is required as part of coordinating across Marmon platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a decade of manufacturing accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting, and strong skills in Excel, OneStream, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• A four-year undergraduate degree in accounting is required.
• An MBA degree and CPA designation are highly desirable but are not required.
• Minimum ten years of progressive responsibility in manufacturing accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with GAAP and internal controls is desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel and general accounting software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly close procedures for the MBU under US GAAP.
• Review the monthly controllers report and reconcile issues with the Platform VP.
• Monitor inventory control and perform quarterly analytics and reporting.
• Lead annual budget process and coordinate with Corporate.
• Provide financial insights and decision support to Manufacturing leadership.
