The role emphasizes internal controls, audits, and strategic financial planning within a nonprofit healthcare/education context. Strong Excel skills and nonprofit experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Strong computer skills & literacy.
• Accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service, diplomacy, and multitasking ability.
• Organizational and time management strengths.

Responsibilities

• Oversee organizational financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and billing.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for leadership and board.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with funding sources, auditors, and vendors.
• Support financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead finance staff and monitor performance against priorities.
