Jobot is seeking a Finance Director for a municipal entity in Deer Valley, UT. Hybrid, permanent role overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting while ensuring compliance and strategic funding. Strong leadership in grants, ERP implementation, and finance operations is required.

The candidate will coordinate annual audits, manage cash flow, and present financial matters to the board. A BA is required, with an MBA/CPA preferred, plus 5+ years in financial/operational management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BA, ideally with an MBA/CPA or related degree.
• At least 5 years of overall professional experience; 6+ preferred.
• Experience responsible for financial data quality, reporting, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual budgeting and planning; prepare monthly budget vs actual reports.
• Manage cash flow and forecasting; implement robust financial reporting systems.
• Update policies and accounting procedures; enhance finance policies.
• Present critical financial matters to the board of directors.
• Coordinate annual audit; liaise with auditors and finance committee.
• Lead budgeting with senior leadership and monitor financial status.
• Manage investments in line with policy and guidelines.
