Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Director of Finance to lead budgeting, financial reporting, and controls for a multi-location organization with a 50+ year track record. You will shape financial strategy, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive performance with senior managers.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, bonus potential, and a path for internal growth. You will manage staff, coordinate systems, and partner with HR to optimize workforce costs.

Qualifications

• MBA/MPH/MHA or health care-related master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Management is required.
• CPA certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, coordinating, and evaluating financial programs, including budgeting and safeguarding assets.
• Coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems.
• Assure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
• Approve and process revenue, expenditures, department budgets, and mass salary updates.
• Work with HR on staff allocation and position control documents.
• Coordinate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for the CFO.
• Review contracting and marketing initiatives to support revenue development within guidelines.
• Help establish short and long-range departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
• Provide department heads with financial reports as requested and supervise staff performance.
• Interact with managers to provide consultative financial analyses and recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO.
