Job summary

Key duties include supervising accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax filings, and reporting of income and expenses. Strong leadership and Excel skills are essential, with a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years in hospitality finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of financial management experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software/systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting department including AR/AP, payroll, audits.
• Plan and implement financial procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Approve hotel purchases within budget.
• Prepare analyses of operations and manage forecasting.
• Oversee cash handling and reporting of financial position.
• Coordinate audits and government/tax filings.
• Lead HR processes related to payroll and benefits.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Train management on reading budgets and P&L statements.
