Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Director of Finance to lead its site financial analytics, budgeting, forecasting and reporting. You will drive performance analyses, support revenue capture, and contribute to strategic financial planning in a high‑growth cancer and diabetes care network.

The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 5–7 years in healthcare finance, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.
• Five to seven years in healthcare, business analytics, operations analysis, or accounting/finance.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead site financial analytics, including retention, reimbursement, operational financial support.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses with explanations and reporting to management and the board.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, pro formas, and statutory reports; support hospital initiatives to optimize revenue and reduce costs.
