Job summary

Avispa Technology is seeking a Director of Finance for a six-month onsite assignment in Santa Monica to lead financial strategy, forecasting, and reporting.

You will partner with senior leadership, drive budgeting and long-range planning, develop KPIs, and ensure tight cost controls across functions.

Requires 10+ years in gaming, finance degree; CPA/MBA preferred. Hourly pay $85/hr with full W2 benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• MBA is preferred.
• Strong FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting.
• Experience advising senior leadership as strategic business partner.
• Experience cross-functional with corporate/studio finance, controllership, marketing, etc.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with growth objectives; lead budgeting and long-range planning.
• Lead FP&A activities: analyses, monthly reports, KPI tracking against budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial guidance to senior leadership; present detailed reports and align budgets with goals.
• Manage project costs and ensure compliance with policies; oversee external stakeholder negotiations.
• Serve as primary finance liaison with corporate and studio finance, optimize ERP/FP&A systems across the org.
