Job summary

Avispa Technology is seeking a Procurement Production Director to support production procurement by managing workflows, negotiations, analytics, and executive reporting across production environments.

The role requires 10+ years in procurement or related fields, with experience engaging SVP-level stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA preferred. Onsite at multiple U.S. locations, including Los Angeles, NYC, and Nashville, with a 9-month assignment and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement, supply chain, production ops, or related fields.
• Experience with SVP-level executives.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience building operating cadences and governance routines.
• Strong analytics with dashboards and data-driven reporting.
• Proficiency with project management, ERP, or workflow platforms (Asana/Smartsheet/Airtable/Excel).
• Excellent communication translating needs into executive recommendations.
• Lean/Six Sigma or similar process improvement experience.
• Experience in production/media/live events is preferred.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage procurement operating routines with weekly/monthly/quarterly cadences.
• Lead procurement analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and executive materials.
• Collaborate with procurement leadership, finance, legal, and production teams to translate needs into workstreams.
• Standardize and improve procurement processes, tracking, and reporting.
• Operate as a senior contributor, leading meetings with production leadership and executives.
