Kids’ Food Basket seeks a Director of Finance to lead accounting operations, manage budgets, and oversee audits. The role partners with leadership and the Board to translate financial data into strategic insights, ensuring responsible stewardship and strong controls.

The ideal candidate brings nonprofit accounting expertise, people leadership, and a collaborative approach to strengthen organizational impact and mission delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Six+ years of progressively responsible accounting/financial-management experience, including 2+ years supervising staff.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, close processes, reconciliations, audits, and nonprofit accounting; CPA/CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations: general ledger, fund accounting, reconciliations, close, payroll, cost allocations, grant accounting.
• Manage annual budget process with forecasts, dashboards, and financial analysis for decisions.
• Oversee audits and regulatory filings; strengthen internal controls and reporting.
