National Lenders (NLGA) is seeking a senior finance leader to direct all financial operations in Houston, TX. The Director of Finance will own reporting, accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, compliance, and audit, while building data-driven capabilities to inform pricing, deal structures, cash flow, and growth targets.

Responsibilities

• Direct all finance-related operations, including financial reporting, accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, compliance, and audit
• Lead direct reports including the Controller, with indirect onsite leadership across the corporate office
• Build out data-based FP&A capabilities to support decisions on pricing, deal structures, cash flow, profit, default risk, and growth targets
• Continue building required regulatory protocols, compliance programs, and an internal audit framework
• Design, build, and produce standardized forecasts and other analysis for the executive team
• Maintain a comprehensive schedule of all required regulatory and tax registrations, renewals, and filings
• Recruit, train, and mentor new talent for the finance organization
• Develop a positive, performance-based culture in the finance organization (SOPs, metrics, scorecards, process and technology improvements)
• Build and nurture positive internal and external business relationships that strengthen department and company capabilities
• Identify and sponsor solutions that improve cash flow, control expenses, and increase profit
• Identify and address potential financial risks for the company
