Job summary

Renson Group in Carrollton, TX seeks a Finance Director to guide North American financial performance and transformation. You will partner with the U.S. President and Belgian headquarters to drive governance, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives within an entrepreneurial, manufacturing-focused setup.

You will lead the NA finance team, oversee ERP improvements (SAP), and ensure compliance with local regulations and Group standards, while aligning HR matters with corporate priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in accounting, financial controlling, and cost accounting, ideally within manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Commercial mindset linking financials to operational decisions.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP is a strong advantage.
• Proven leadership or potential to grow into broader leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial controlling, cost accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for North American operations.

For our client Renson Group, a Belgian leader in ventilation, sun protection, and outdoor living solutions, we are looking for a Finance Director to support the continued growth and transformation of its North American operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who combines strong financial expertise with business acumen, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ambition to make a broader impact within an international organization.

As a key member of the North American leadership team, you will work closely with the U.S. President and Belgian headquarters to drive financial performance, business transformation, and sustainable growth.

Your responsibilities

• Lead financial controlling, cost accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the North American operations.
• Act as a trusted business partner to local executive leadership and the Belgian headquarters.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Oversee financial governance, internal controls, compliance, and risk management, ensuring alignment with local regulations and Group standards.
• Drive process optimization, operational efficiency, and ERP improvements, including SAP-related initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the local finance team.
• Oversee local HR matters in collaboration with Group HR, including HR compliance, employee relations, and organizational development.
• Lead the professionalization of financial and non-operational business processes, supporting organizational transformation and operational excellence.

Your profile

• Strong foundation in accounting, financial controlling, and cost accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to connect financial performance to operational and strategic business decisions.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience with ERP systems. SAP experience is a strong advantage.
• Proven leadership experience or the ambition and potential to develop into a broader leadership role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate a European-owned business environment and build trusted relationships across U.S. operations and Belgian headquarters.
• Ability to oversee HR-related matters in cooperation with internal and external specialists.
• Based in the United States and willing to work in Carrollton, Texas.
• Fluency in English required; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
