Job summary

AT&T is looking for students entering a bachelor’s program in finance to join our Finance Development Program in Dallas. This 18-month rotational program includes two 9-month assignments across key financial areas and offers mentorship, leadership exposure, and ongoing development opportunities.

You will analyze financial data, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and pricing discussions, with a strong focus on data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program focusing on finance.
• Estimated graduation by June 2027.
• Ability to meet full-time, in-office requirement in Dallas throughout the duration of the program.
• 0-3+ years of work experience in Finance/Business setting.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret financials and data; include budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting, and expense management.
• Partner with business teams to leverage analytics and reporting to meet requirements.
• Drive and maintain project deliverables supporting the organization.
• Analyze market trends and financial data to propose data-driven solutions.
• Identify and drive process improvements; create standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Develop automated reporting/forecasting tools to increase productivity.
• Provide input on recommendations to achieve financial objectives.
• Cost evaluation and pricing of new products, services, and contracts.
• Conduct market research to support internal financial analysis.

What you’ll do:

• Analyze and interpret financials and other relevant data; scope includes budget management, cost benefit analysis, financial forecasting, and expense management
• Partner with various business teams to evaluate how to best leverage analytics and reporting to meet evolving requirements and information needs
• Drive, develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the organization
• Work on issues of diverse scope including analysis of market trends and financial data to recommend data driven solutions
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, andExcel dashboards
• Increase productivity by identifying and developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
• Provide input on recommendations to achieve financial objectives
• Cost evaluation and pricing of new products, services, and contract proposals
• Conduct market research to support internal financial analysis

What you’ll need:

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program focusing on finance, or other specialized related degrees
• Estimated graduation by June 2027
• Ability to meet the full-time, in-office requirement in Dallas throughout the duration of the program
• 0-3+ years of proven work experience in Finance/Business related setting (internships, cohorts, etc)
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills & experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, etc)

Our Finance Development Program colleagues earn an annual salary between $65,400 – $98,200, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting pay within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
