Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior/Principal Data Solutions Analyst to steward financial data within the Corporate Finance Data Strategy and Governance team. You will partner with business, IT, and finance to define transformations and data passed to reporting systems and downstream processes.

Responsibilities include prototyping data solutions, managing complex multi-tier systems, mentoring junior staff, and promoting agile practices.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Master’s in same or related disciplines strongly preferred.
• Senior: 3-5 years experience in coding for data management, data warehousing, or other data environments.
• Principal: 5-7 years experience in coding for data management, data warehousing, or other data environments.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and develop data solutions to meet organizational and business needs.
• Apply principles of metadata, lineage, data dependencies and hierarchy, and data security to project work.
• Design proof-of-concept solutions using financial insurance concepts and multiple coding languages; perform iterative testing.
