Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a motivated Finance Data Science & Automation Intern to support North American finance growth in a hybrid Plano, TX setting. You will engage with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, and Operations teams to modernize reporting, governance, and data quality while building AI-driven insights.

You will learn to apply data science, automation, and AI in a fast-paced telecom environment, develop scalable data solutions, and contribute to forecasting, dashboards, and decision support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, analytics, data science, CS, or related quantitative field.
• Strong academics and internship/project experience in finance, analytics, data, or BI.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI (or similar BI tools).
• Exposure to AI/ML, predictive analytics, or automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Data Engineering & Governance initiatives and build scalable data pipelines.
• Apply AI, analytics, and automation to generate actionable insights.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and self‑service analytics for finance leadership.
• Assist with PEC quality checks, forecasts, and financial performance analysis.
