You will interact with stakeholders across finance, technology, and product, translating business requirements into data requirements and ensuring solutions are feasible, testable, and well‑understood.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of MIS/BI/Analytics experience.
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel advanced functions.
  • Experience with BI tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks/Snowflake, Tableau/ThoughtSpot).
  • Able to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery to define finance data product scope, outcomes, and success metrics.
  • Translate requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize backlogs based on value, dependencies, and capacity.
  • Coordinate across teams to maintain delivery alignment and unblock blockers.
  • Maintain Jira and Jira Align hygiene (roadmaps, backlogs, dependencies, statuses).
  • Ensure requirements are feasible, testable, and well understood by tech and product partners.
  • Drive end-to-end readiness for testing and release, clarifying scope and cutover expectations.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Identify process improvements to reduce friction and improve execution.

Job description

As a Data Domain Architect Lead on the Finance Data and Insights Team, you will lead the definition and delivery of finance-focused data product requirements, guiding cross-functional teams from early discovery through release. You'll work closely with stakeholders across finance, technology, and product partners to translate complex needs into clear, actionable plans—while maintaining strong delivery hygiene in Jira and Jira Align. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment, create clarity where priorities compete, and help teams align on what “done” looks like.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery and requirements efforts to define finance data product scope, outcomes, and success measures.
  • Translate business requirements into prototype solutions for new/enhancement requests and implement with appropriate quality and control standards and sustainable operating model.
  • Facilitate stakeholder working sessions to surface needs, resolve ambiguity, and align on decisions.
  • Translate business needs into clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize backlogs based on value, dependencies, and delivery capacity, ensuring transparent trade-offs.
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to drive alignment, resolve blockers, and keep delivery on track.
  • Maintain high-quality Jira and Jira Align hygiene (roadmaps, backlogs, dependencies, statuses, and documentation).
  • Partner with technology and data teams to ensure requirements are feasible, testable, and well understood.
  • Drive end-to-end readiness for testing and release by clarifying scope, roles, and cutover expectations.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to a wide range of stakeholders in clear, concise language.
  • Identify process improvements that reduce friction and help teams execute consistently.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 10+ years of total experience within MIS, Business Intelligence, and/or Analytics roles.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software - Must be proficient in SQL query writing and Excel advanced functions.
  • Exposure to one or more Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms: AWS, Databricks or Snowflake and Tableau or ThoughtSpot.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize complex work to drive results.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data requirements that can be clearly understood by the product team and the ability to explain technical issues in a way business users understand.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with constantly evolving priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to interpret and analyze data, identify anomalies, determine root cause, and recommend solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence an audience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience managing delivery backlogs and work plans in Jira and Jira Align (or equivalent tooling).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Proven people leader in data analytics, with experience building and coaching high-performing teams to deliver measurable business impact through scalable, well-governed insights.
    Experience supporting finance reporting, performance management, or financial data use cases.
  • Knowledge of data product concepts such as data quality, lineage, metadata, or controls.
  • Comfort working with diverse stakeholder groups and facilitating trade-off discussions.
