Job summary

Intuit is seeking a senior data governance leader who will own the data foundation for Finance modernization and AI production workflows. You will define data definitions, quality standards, and access controls across Finance data domains while coordinating with Risk, Legal, Security, and Technology.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data governance, data strategy, or data architecture at senior level.
• Experience standing up or scaling a data governance program.
• Experience guiding data through large legacy-to-cloud migrations with lineage and controls.
• Experience building enterprise data maps, catalogs, and lineage tooling.
• Strong fluency in SQL and modern data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Experience in regulated environments with SOX/ICFR exposure is a plus.
• Bachelor’s in IS/CS/Finance or related; advanced degree or certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Finance's data governance framework with definitions, quality, stewardship, and access controls.
• Build lineage and the Finance data map for source-to-metric traceability.
• Embed governance in platform modernization, ensuring ownership and SOX controls in target state.
• Lead synthetic data strategy for testing, development, and model training.
• Design controls with partners on access and sensitive-data handling for SOX/privacy.
• Represent Finance in enterprise data strategy and align with Intuit policy.
• Shape the roadmap for data capability maturity and emerging AI/data readiness.
