Job summary

IntVerse.io is seeking a seasoned Data Governance Lead to own finance master data governance across ERP and reporting platforms. You’ll define data standards, ownership models, and stewardship processes with Finance, Controllership, and IT, while chairing the Data Governance Council and ensuring SOX-ready controls evidence.

You will partner with S/4HANA, MDG, and reporting teams on data readiness for migrations, month-end close, and ongoing data quality initiatives, shaping reliable, auditable

Qualifications

• 8+ years in finance data management, with 3+ years leading data governance or master data functions.
• Hands-on SAP experience — S/4HANA Finance, SAP MDG, or equivalent ERP master data platforms.
• Strong grasp of financial reporting structures, close processes, and internal controls (SOX).
• Experience with data quality/governance tooling (Collibra, Informatica, SAP Information Steward, or similar).
• Proven ability to influence Finance and IT stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own governance of finance master data (Chart of Accounts, Cost/Profit Centers, Vendor, Customer, Bank, Asset) across ERP and reporting platforms.
• Define and enforce data standards, ownership models, and stewardship processes with Finance, Controllership, and IT.
• Run the data quality lifecycle: rules, KPIs, issue triage, root-cause analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Chair/support the Data Governance Council — policies, change control, and approval workflows for master data requests.
• Partner with S/4HANA, MDG, and reporting teams on data readiness for migrations, integrations, and month-end close.
