Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Finance Data Governance Consultant (Contract) to establish and operationalize governance across finance data, lineage, quality, and master data. This role partners with Finance and Technology to define standards, document critical data, and support priority data products in a greenfield environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data governance or finance data management and hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Snowflake, and governance

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in data governance, Finance data management, Finance transformation, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes including GL, consolidation, planning, close, and reconciliations.
• Experience documenting data definitions, lineage, rules, mappings, and governance controls.
• Experience partnering with Finance, Accounting, BI, security, and enterprise technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish Finance Data Governance foundation including roles, processes, and operating cadence.
• Build Finance data inventory, glossary, lineage, and metadata publication workflows.
• Document data lineage from source systems through reporting and analytics consumption.
• Define data quality standards, rules, monitoring, and remediation processes.
• Govern Finance master data and hierarchies: accounts, cost centers, entities, regions, currencies.
• Support governed finance data products and documentation for SAP and consolidation data.
• Drive adoption through workshops, executive updates, and training materials.
