Job summary

Merchants Fleet seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer to bridge Enterprise IT/Data Architecture and Treasury. You will design, build, and optimize data infrastructure, pipelines, and reporting environments to support financial operations, audits, and securitization modeling.

You will collaborate with finance and technical stakeholders to ensure financial data is accurate, secure, scalable, and readily available for reporting and analysis, helping drive strategic initiatives and data-driven

Qualifications

5+ years in data engineering or analytics; financial data experience preferred.
Strong SQL, data modeling, and data integration skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Partner with Finance and Treasury to understand business needs and translate into scalable data solutions.
Identify, explore, and integrate data from multiple systems to support financial reporting and analytics.
Design and develop scalable data models for business users.
Collaborate with engineers to acquire, transform, and integrate source data across platforms.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of enterprise data assets and reporting layers.
Document business rules, data definitions, metrics, and logic for transparency.
