Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Domain Data Architect to design and deliver Finance data domains using Databricks, enabling access for analytics across banking products. You will partner with Technology and Product teams to align data solutions with business objectives.

The role requires 7+ years in data architecture within financial services, strong SQL/data modeling skills, and experience with Databricks, ThoughtSpot, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data architecture, warehousing, and integration in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Expertise in scalable data mart architectures (star and snowflake schemas).
• Strong data management, lineage, and dictionary knowledge.
• Proven track record delivering complex data projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize the Finance Data Mart using Databricks and ThoughtSpot for analytics and reporting
• Design efficient data mart schemas consolidating key data categories from multiple source systems
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and technical specialists to gather and analyze business requirements
• Develop and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines using Databricks
• Partner with Area Product teams and stakeholders to design reporting and analytics solutions and apply design-led thinking to make data discoverable and accessible for analytical needs
• Maintain documentation on data mart architecture, data models, ETL processes, and governance policies and stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in data management
• Ensure alignment of data solutions with organizational objectives and support the Finance function across diverse business areas
