Amazon's NACF Finance seeks a data-driven finance expert to turn large datasets into actionable insights. You will partner with Finance, Operations, and Tech to build models, automate reporting, and reduce costs while improving data quality across the NACF network.

The role emphasizes advanced SQL, data mining, KPI analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to influence strategic decisions and drive profitability. This is a hands-on, analytics-focused finance position in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business (or equivalent) and 5+ years in quantitative roles.
• 3+ years in tax/finance or related analytical field.
• 4+ years applying KPIs to analyses.
• 4+ years creating automation and analytics.
• 4+ years identifying opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance tools.
• 3+ years dissecting financial data to support business strategy.
• 3+ years cross-functional initiatives driving financial performance.
• Experience with advanced SQL for data mining and BI.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Finance and Data teams; understand NACF cost drivers and related systems.
• Build financial models and analyze complex problems with limited guidance.
• Own financial reporting efficiency and resolve data-integrity issues with stakeholders.
• Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to drive cost reduction and process improvement.
• Write SQL queries to gather finance data and perform data mining with Excel, SQL, Python.
• Lead root-cause analysis and partner with Operations to improve profitability.
• Enable finance stakeholders to self-serve data and insights.
• Apply AI to automate financial workflows using tools like AWS Kiro or Claude Code.
• Identify and execute opportunities to improve finance tools and processes across teams.
• Collaborate with data-source providers and tech teams to ensure timely, accurate data.
• Communicate complex finance issues clearly, draw conclusions, and challenge assumptions.
