Job summary

CVS Health invites motivated students to join a Summer Finance Internship. This 11-week, full-time program starts May 24, 2027 and ends August 4, 2027, with a hybrid work model (in-office Tue–Thu, remote Tue–Fri). Assignments span Enterprise FP&A, Health Care Benefits, and more.

Housing assistance may be available; CPT/OPT/F-1 visa sponsorship is not offered. Target majors include Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields, with anticipated BA/BS completion between Jan 2028 and Aug 2028.

Our Finance internship experience is an 11-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 24th, 2027, and concludes on August 4th, 2027 (intended dates, subject to change). This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in office with the other 2 days each week working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice.

Job Locations (Locations may be updated closer to start date based on availability): Cumberland, RI; Hartford, CT; Northbrook, IL. Interns may qualify for housing assistance in the form of company-provided housing. The hourly rate is $26/hr with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Please disregard the range listed. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

As a finance intern, you will be assigned to a summer role in a department such as:

Preferred Qualifications

• Have demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
• Have internship, work, or project experience in related field such as (insert based on business requirements)
• Have experience with data analysis and visualization tools, for example Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions
• Show strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have an interest in obtaining full-time Corporate Finance position within CVS Health upon graduation

Education

• Anticipated completion of bachelor’s degree program by full-time start date (January 2028 through August 2028) or equivalent experience.
• Master’s students completing 3+1 or 4+1 programs (a Master’s/MBA program immediately following your bachelor’s degree) may be considered
• Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position. Examples include: Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar quantitative majors

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $25.00 - $25.00
