• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years accounting/finance experience, or an Associate degree with 1 year accounting/finance experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a wide range of financial transactions across multiple fund types.
• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Monitor assigned accounts, review cost object balances, and prepare standard financial reports.
• Provide guidance on financial policies, procedures, and business processes to faculty and staff.
• Role is located on UNL's East Campus in Lincoln, with potential hybrid onsite schedule after training.
