Job summary

The Controller position is a key leadership role within the Finance Department. Primary responsibilities include Accounts Payable, Payroll, Grant Reporting, Compliance, Management Reports, and partner with KIC managers to implement Tribal goals and objectives.

Reviews operating results of the programs, compares them to the established objectives and takes steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.

Qualifications

• A minimum Associate Degree is required.
• Possession of a valid Alaska driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees month-end processes and timely monthly managerial reporting.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and salary/expense allocations.
• Ensures accurate processing of payroll, accounts payable, and grant reporting.
