Job summary

HSP US is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growth-focused energy startup in North Carolina. You will own the full close process, manage fixed assets and intercompany reconciliations, and support ICFR and audit processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, SAP S4/HANA FI/CO proficiency, IFRS knowledge, and a startup mindset with global collaboration. Growth opportunities and competitive compensation await.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA FI/CO and IFRS knowledge.
• Strong understanding of month-end closes and internal controls.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup-like environment with data integrity focus.
• Willingness to collaborate with international teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly closing process and ensure GL integrity.
• Manage fixed assets, CIP tracking, depreciation, and asset disposal.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and cross-entity charges.
• Maintain ICFR and SOX-ready documentation where applicable.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and revenue/FX controls.
• Support BI reporting and cost/plant variance analysis.
• Assist in external audits and tax-related coordination.
