Job summary

Red Hawk Resort + Casino is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee Payroll and Revenue Audit, and to direct the timely reporting of the property's financial position.

This role ensures GAAP compliance, regulator interactions, and the integrity of financial data, while leading cross-department collaboration and employee engagement within the Finance team.

Qualified candidates will have CPA or MBA preferred and a proven track record in budgeting and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• College degree and 3+ years of finance or accounting management experience, or 6+ years of relevant management experience.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 21+ years old with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, expense analysis and cost-benefit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develops, trains, advises, and supports the teams of Payroll and Revenue Audit.
• Directs the timely and accurate reporting of the financial position of the property.
• Ensures the integrity of all financial data produced by the department.
• Ensures the quality of management operations in the audit areas.
• Monitors financial activities to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and controls.
• Maintains GAAP knowledge and timely completion of financial reports.
• Maintains regulatory relationships with Gaming Commission and authorities.
• Prepares financial data for Gaming Authority and Senior Executive Team.
• Adheres to property policies regarding compliance and regulations.
• Presides over committees and reviews daily financial reports and journal entries.
• Ensures maximum property-wide service in financial aspects.
