Job summary

Holman, in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an Automotive Finance Consultant to join Mercedes-Benz Raleigh. This role focuses on driving the F&I operation, presenting financing and related products, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

You will analyze credit reports and train staff while building industry relationships to support dealership goals. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in automotive finance, excellent communication, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
• Strong organizational and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years of experience as automotive finance manager, preferably in a high line store.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain successful F&I operation.
• Assist buyers with financing, payment protection and related products for their vehicle.
• Maintain follow-up on contracts and titles.
• Obtain and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
• Process and analyze customer credit reports.
• Run and review customer credit reports.
• Analyze credit history to assess loan approval probability.
• Stay current on F&I products and manufacturers' policies.
• Train sales consultants on F&I products and paperwork.
• Build relationships with industry contacts.
• Support desk managers as needed.

What will you do?

• Maintain successful F&I Operation
• Assure that all buyers are afforded the opportunity to purchase financing, payment protection and other products and services carried which are appropriate for the vehicle purchased
• Maintain a follow-up system for collecting one pay contracts and outstanding titles
• Obtain and maintain high customer satisfaction scores
• Process, review and analyze the credit report of customers
• Run customer credit reports, which include detailed credit history and confidential consumer data
• Analyze the credit history of the customer to determine the probability of the bank accepting the credit application
• Maintain knowledge of finance and insurance products and manufacturers policies
• Train and manage sales consultants in product and paperwork related to F&I Products
• Maintain knowledge of industry; create and maintain relationships with industry contacts
• Assist the desk managers as necessary
