The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the monthly close process for a growing dental management company in Syracuse, NY. You will work with regional managers, territory directors, and office owners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel. This role emphasizes analysis, journal entries, incentives processing, and collaboration with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Public or private accounting experience for a large organization is a plus.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and overall MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Support monthly financial statement close for a growing dental management company.
• Provide finance support to regional managers, territory directors and DVPs.
• Analyze and post journal entries and adjustments.
• Process incentives for office and field levels within the territory.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet and P&L accounts monthly.
• Assist in quarterly financial statements and audit requests.
• Coordinate with external CPAs for tax return information.
