Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is hiring an Accounting Manager to support the Senior Accounting Manager in GAAP-compliant accounting and the preparation of internal and external financial reports. The role oversees close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and controls across a multi-entity environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 10+ years in accounting, and prior management experience; Sage Intacct experience is preferred and multi-entity experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 10+ years progressive accounting experience, corporate preferred.
• Prior management experience required.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred, plus general ledger and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close including financial statements and ad hoc reports.
• Create monthly journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Lead year-end inventory counts and variance analyses.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting team.
• Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls.
• Support annual audit planning with external auditors.
