Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced Financing and Clearing Platform Lead Analyst to drive revenue-generating enhancements and oversee margining strategies across Prime Product Development. The role emphasizes margin methodologies, cross-product margining, and risk controls within a hybrid New York–based environment.

You will work with trading, technology, and risk teams to deliver platform improvements, align with regulatory changes, and optimize profitability for privileged clients.

Qualifications

• 8-14 years of progressive experience in prime brokerage or futures and clearing.
• Deep expertise in developing, implementing, and managing margin and cross-product margining solutions.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and data-driven decision making.
• Experience optimizing Profit & Loss and financial metrics related to trading activities.

Responsibilities

• Drives strategic analysis of trading revenues, financing expenses, and other key metrics to identify revenue opportunities.
• Leads development and enhancements of margin calculation engines, collateral optimization tools, and cross-product margining functionalities.
• Provides regulatory and industry guidance on margining and related compliance requirements (UMR, Dodd-Frank, EMIR).
• Designs and implements risk controls for margin calls, collateral movements, and exposure management within a cross-product framework.
• Collaborates with technology, operations, risk, and front-office teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities and strategic initiatives.
