Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with at least 24 semester hours in accounting.
• Combination of Education and Professional Accounting Experience may qualify with required coursework or CPA/CIA.
• Graduate Education Substitution: Master's degree or two years of graduate education may substitute for specialized experience.
• Official transcripts must be submitted; resumes cannot exceed 2 pages.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs daily operations of assigned staff, including scheduling, leave approval, performance management, and issue resolution.
• Analyzes financial transactions and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts for accuracy and reporting.
• Prepares routine financial reports and assists with year-end closeout activities.
• Develops procedural guidance and provides recommendations for improvements to accounting processes and systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Evaluates financial and statistical data and advises management with solutions to complex issues.
• Participates in meetings, delivers training, develops instructional materials, and supports Finance Center initiatives.
