Vp plc is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Finance Manager in delivering a proactive business-partnering service across the group. You will influence senior managers, lead commercial investigations, KPI reporting and planning, and contribute to budgeting and project work.

The role requires an ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualification with strong analytical ability, advanced Excel, and solid IT skills. Experience with Tableau is a plus, and you will work in a remote/home-based setup in the

• Experience of partnering with non-financial managers at senior level.
• Experience of working effectively during periods of organisational change.

• Proven ability to manage deadlines and concurrent challenges.
• Sound modelling and analytical skills.
• Proven IT skills, including advanced Excel.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain operational relationships whilst enhancing financial awareness and ownership of business/departmental performance.
• Undertake detailed analysis and investigation of key business areas as identified with the Finance Manager.
• Report findings, make recommendations and develop action plans for improvements, including process improvements and monitoring.
• Develop and continually update business KPI’s.
• Ensure regular financial and operational information is distributed to stakeholders.
• Prepare and obtain information to build the annual budgets & forecasting.
• Assist with acquisitions (e.g., due diligence and integration).
• Support finance contribution to Divisional board meetings & senior team reviews.
• Delegate work as appropriate to the Finance Analyst.
• Maintain department procedures and documentation.
• Be prepared to undertake other duties within skill and competence.

Finance Business Partner

This is a varied role where you will support the Finance Manager in delivering an effective business-partnering service. Fundamentally, you will be partnering with senior managers around the business, assisting and influencing them in making key decisions. In addition, this role will include commercial business investigation, KPI reporting, planning & budgeting, plus various ad hoc activities and project work as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational relationships whilst enhancing financial awareness and ownership of business/departmental performance.
• Undertake detailed analysis and investigation of key business areas as identified and agreed with the Finance Manager.
• Report findings, make recommendations and develop action plan for improvements. This includes process improvements and plans for continual monitoring.
• Develop and continually update business KPI’s.
• Ensures regular financial and operational information is distributed to stakeholders.
• Prepare and obtain information to build the annual budgets & forecasting.
• To assist with any acquisitions e.g. due diligence and operational integration.
• Support finance contribution to Divisional board meetings & senior team reviews.
• Delegate work as appropriate to the Finance Analyst.
• Ensure appropriate department procedures are maintained, updated and documented.
• When considered necessary or appropriate by the company you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified CIMA / ACCA accountant.

• Proven IT skills, utilising various systems and reporting platforms. Excel to an advanced level.
• Experience of Tableau desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
