AskSage (BigBear.ai company) is seeking a Director of Finance & Business Operations to partner with the BU leader, owning forecasting, close, quote-to-cash, revenue operations, pricing governance, and procurement. This senior role also leads a small team and ensures audit-ready controls while aligning with corporate Finance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading finance or business operations for a P&L in federal/defense context.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across a BU.
• Experience with government contracting, FAR/DFARS cost principles.
• Strong Excel modeling with data from billing, CRM, and accounting.
• Clear written and verbal communication to executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business.

Responsabilités

• Lead the finance function and partner the business with the EVP and leaders on P&L and headcount.
• Build and lead the team; set priorities and ensure coverage across forecasting and reporting.
• Own forecasting and close; bridge pipeline to bookings and revenue.
• Own quote-to-cash; manage invoicing, billing, and cash application across platforms.
• Own revenue operations and pricing governance; analyze pricing and packaging changes.
• Own procurement and spend; govern cloud and software subscriptions and vendor onboarding.
• Own controls and documentation; ensure audit-ready evidence and FedRAMP/DoD compliance.
• Own contract/vehicle economics for government programs and resellers.
• Integrate with corporate Finance; provide close inputs and SOX support.
• Own finance systems and data integrity; maintain reconciled revenue metrics.
• Communicate financial position to leadership with decision-ready insights.
• Raise the standard of processes; automate with AI tooling while ensuring ledger integrity.
