CEMEX in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Finance/Accounting Analyst to own financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting for the designated region, partnering with operations to improve EBIT, ROIC and cash flow. Travel to business sites as needed is a requirement.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of financial management experience, SAP and Excel skills, and professional credentials (CPA/CMA/CFM preferred) or strong candidacy.

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA, CMA or CFM designation or strong candidacy preferred.
• 2+ years of financial management experience; industry experience helpful.
• Experience in financial analysis and special projects.
• Proficient in SAP and PC-based applications; strong Excel skills.

Mansioni

• Acts as primary accounting support to operating locations within the Division.
• Prepares and reviews significant financial information for Division, Region, and Corporate management.
• Participates in monthly closing, forecast updates, and budget preparation.
• Performs financial benchmarking and monthly performance analyses.
• Supports ad-hoc reports related to sales, purchasing, working capital and operating expenses.
• Assists Division and plant managers with balance sheet analysis and asset transactions.
