Job summary

Metropolis is seeking a Director, Business Intelligence – Finance to own the vision, strategy, and execution of Metropolis’s Finance BI. You will build and scale a multi-disciplinary team delivering self-serve analytics, predictive modeling, and board-ready reporting.

You’ll serve as the executive data partner to Finance, translating priorities into data infrastructure investments while ensuring governance and high-quality metrics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering, BI, Data Science, or FinTech with 4+ years in leadership.
• Experience building data teams and scaling orgs in high-growth tech environments.
• Executive presence with data storytelling to drive business actions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Finance BI strategy and multi-year data roadmap from pipeline to board reporting.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of BIEs, data scientists, and analysts.
• Develop predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and driver-based forecasting.
• Partner with Finance leadership to guide data infrastructure investments.
• Oversee governance, data quality, and trusted finance metrics.
