Job summary

Metropolis Technologies seeks a Director of Business Intelligence – Finance to own the vision and execution of the finance BI function. You’ll shape multi-year roadmaps, govern data assets, and enable self-serve analytics for leadership.

You will recruit and scale a high-performing team of BIEs, data scientists, and analysts, advancing predictive modeling and AI-powered analytics while partnering with CFO-level stakeholders to align data investments with business strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering, BI, Data Science, or FinTech with 4+ years leading data teams.
• Proven track record building multi-disciplinary data functions at high-growth tech or operations-heavy companies.
• Executive presence and ability to translate finance strategy into data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own Finance BI strategy from multi-year vision to governance and self-serve analytics.
• Build and mentor a first-rate team of BIEs, data scientists, and analysts.
• Develop advanced analytics including forecasting, anomaly detection, and scenario planning.
• Partner with Finance executives to invest in data infrastructure and governance.
• Define and manage a fast-moving intake and delivery framework for finance data.
