Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst focused on finance to join our team in West Fargo, ND. You will build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, working with business leaders to understand analytics needs and to analyze financial and operational data.

The role requires 3+ years of BI/analytics experience, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and the ability to translate requirements into reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in analytics, information systems, finance, or accounting.
• 3+ years of BI, reporting, analytics, or financial analysis experience.
• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience gathering requirements and turning them into reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Partner with business leaders to understand reporting and analytics needs.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Create and maintain data models, reports, and KPIs.
• Develop solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL and related tools.
• Automate reporting processes and improve data accessibility.
• Ensure data accuracy and reporting quality with IT and business teams.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and propose process improvements.
• Document reporting processes, metrics, and data definitions.
• Support additional analytics and business improvement projects as needed.
