Job summary

LinkedIn seeks a Finance Automation professional to transform enterprise finance processes using low-code platforms, AI tools, and integrated workflows. You will partner with Controller, FP&A, and Collections teams to map friction, design solutions, and ship prototypes that accelerate close, forecast, and procure-to-pay cycles.

The role emphasizes building measurable improvements, coaching teams to adopt new tools, and operating within a SOX-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in finance, business operations, product management, consulting, or transformation roles.
• Demonstrated experience building and shipping solutions that business users adopted—applications, workflows, tools, or automations on low-code platforms, AI tools, or off-the-shelf platforms.
• Working knowledge of core enterprise finance processes (close and consolidation, planning and forecasting, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, or marketing finance).
• Experience using AI tools in a real work context to produce a working product.

Responsibilities

• Find the friction by mapping how work actually gets done with Finance teams and identify where time, rework, and manual effort are lost.
• Build and maintain a prioritized view of high-value automation and AI opportunities across finance, sized by impact and effort.
• Design and ship working applications and workflows using low-code/no-code platforms and approved AI services.
• Define success metrics (cycle time saved, error rate reduced, adoption) and monitor after deployment.
• Partner with Finance leaders and IT to ensure enterprise standards for access, data protection, auditability, and responsible AI use.
• Scale the capability by creating reusable patterns, templates, and playbooks to accelerate future work.
