About:

A premium full-service law firm are looking to onboard a well-rounded Finance Associate into their Atlanta office. They welcome applicants that are looking to relocate to Georgia.

They are open to candidates who have any finance experience including the following: project finance, debt finance, leveraged finance and/or structured finance.

Experience:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a law firm setting.
• Prior experience with structuring, documenting, and closing financing transactions in a wide variety of industries is required.
• The candidate should have a desire to work as a member of a dynamic transactional team representing lenders, borrowers, and sponsors in a variety of financing and investment matters.
• Qualified candidates will have strong law school academic credentials, along with relevant and sophisticated law firm and transaction experience.
• Associates must have a high degree of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of tasks and be a pro-active team player.
• An individual who is confident in assisting clients with ongoing deal administration.

Responsibilities:

• Associates within the team are encouraged to develop personal relationships with clients and to take responsibility for transactions, with full support from the partners and other members of the team.
• Undertake transactions directly, dealing with all aspects of the finance transaction.
• Engage in client marketing and business development activities including attending internal and external events.
• Provide clients with advice in a succinct, practical, and persuasive manner.
• Apply a commercial approach to research and evaluate relevance and accuracy in delivery of advice.
• Demonstrate good judgement and a good legal and commercial understanding of client’s particular needs.
