Job summary

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction seeks a Financial Associate for the Northeast Reintegration Center in Cleveland. The role supports data entry, voucher processing, and ledger maintenance within OAKS/OSS frameworks.

Qualifications

• 18 months of accounting/finance experience or equivalent training.
• High school technical program in accounting; 6 months experience/ training acceptable.
• Associate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of chartfield coded requests to Purchases in OAKS.
• Process vouchers in OAKS for various payments and 5% of other vouchers.
• Submit invoices with supporting docs to OSS for processing; prepare local funds for payments.
• Validate all voucher types for management approval; reconcile discrepancies.
• Post, balance ledgers and journals for local funds and accounts; run periodic reports.
