Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution is seeking a Finance Associate—Corporate Debt to join its New York office. You will represent borrowers in syndicated lending and other commercial finance matters within a dedicated corporate debt team, handling secured transactions and drafting critical documents.

The ideal candidate will have substantive finance experience, top-tier academic credentials, and strong verbal and written skills to manage multiple high-value transactions in New York.

Qualifications

• Substantive experience handling syndicated lending and commercial finance transactions.
• Experience with secured transactions and borrower-side private equity finance facilities.
• Admission to the New York or California bar, or eligibility to gain admission promptly.
• Excellent academic credentials from a law school ranked in the top 50.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions in New York.

Responsibilities

• Represent borrowers in syndicated lending and other commercial finance transactions within a dedicated corporate debt team.
• Handle secured transactions, including asset-based and cash flow facilities for sponsored and non sponsored borrowers.
• Draft, review, and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, ancillary finance documentation, and closing deliverables.
• Coordinate deal execution across lenders, sponsors, portfolio companies, and internal practice groups on multiple concurrent matters.
• Work closely with partners on complex structures, gaining substantive ownership of transactions and client relationships.
