Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland in New York is seeking an associate to support a broad lending and structured finance practice for a diverse client base, including banks, asset managers, and corporate borrowers.

The role covers senior and subordinated financings, workouts, cross-border transactions, and a range of structured finance matters across multiple industries, with an in-office presence required three days a week.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have skills and knowledge related to a broad range of commercial lending and structured finance matters, including senior, second lien and subordinated financings; workouts and restructurings; working capital and leveraged acquisition financings; accounts receivable financings; single-currency and multicurrency, domestic and cross-border financings; equipment financings; project finance; lines of credit; letter of credit transactions; securitization; and/or loan syndications and participations.

• The practice group includes a workout and restructuring team, and finance attorneys contribute their experience to these matters.
• The position offers a significant opportunity for a varied practice across a number of industries and sub-practices including telecommunications, media, automobile, manufacturing, technology, asset-based lender, aircraft leasing, water, timber, private credit, syndicated loan markets, and agribusiness.
